If you visit our retail location, or request product delivery, we may also collect personal information from your government issued ID (Identification Card) if provided to us. This information includes your name, address, picture, driver license or other government identification card number, and any other information on your government issued ID, along with any video or pictures that are captured inside, and around our retail location. If you may choose to register on our website, or our mobile site, or otherwise create a personal Member account, you may be required to provide other certain personal information. Any reviews, opinions, or comments you may choose to send us will also be collected for purposes of, but not limited to; surveys, posts on the website, and post to the Company social media sites. If this personal information is not provided, you may not be able to access, or use certain aspects of the Services where such personal information is required.

Information if collected by The Company in the following ways:

  • IP Address: When you visit our website or mobile site, our servers automatically collect data on your Internet Protocol address (“IP Address”), which is the network address of your computer, phone, or device.

  • Cookies: When visiting our site we employ the use of both “Session”, and “Persistent” cookies, along with third-party apps, and analytics tools (See “Cookies and Other Related Technologies” section below). These allow for The Company to recognize returning users, keep track of personal settings/preferences, track user interaction with our site, and ensure the user’s data is safe and secure.

  • Third Party Apps/Analytics Tracking Tools: When visiting our site, the Company may collect information through the use of third party applications and analytics tools that allows the Company the following, but not limited to, conducting secure transactions, tracking user/visitor traffic to and from website, analyze users interactions on website, track social postings, promotional interactions, provide dropshipping, conduct accurate financial tracking, develop future marketing plans, etc. (Note, there may be embedded cookies within third party applications, and varying settings may be required.)

  • Financial Data: We collect information when Users, or Visitors make any type of purchase on our website. Verifying Identity

 

Once you create a account on our website, purchased from the online store, or our physical retail front, your name, address, identification number, photo, and other data may be maintained by The Company for purposes of tracking, and analyzing your usage of the Services provided; creating an electronic profile about you to ensure future verifications of your identity; improving upon, and tailoring customization of our Services for you.

 

Note: Though currently The Company’s services have not extended into the sale of recreational cannabis, as projected for Virginia in 2024, so thereby this portion of the Policy will be updated with specifics concerning your identity, and the further interaction of our Services in 2024.

Your Image

 

Photographic and video recordings of you inside and outside The Company’s retail location, along with any images or videos associated with your website account will be used for the purposes of identifying you, maintaining proper security measures both online, and at our retail location, and adhering to the laws pertaining to video recordings. By use of our online, or physical Services, you acknowledge that images and videos of you may be stored by The Company, and accessed by and supplied to proper law enforcers, The Company’s employees, and any other at The Company’s sole discretion at any time, for any purpose, without notice, or alert to you that such action has taken place.

 

Payment Services

 

You permit The Company to collect your credit, debit, or other financial data you provide (“Payment Data”) in order to facilitate transactions for The Company’s services, or products at your request. Your Payment Data may be transmitted, stored, and used by third party payment processing (Currently, The Company is using Square to facilitate our transactions both online, and at our retail location), analyzing your data for signs of fraudulent, or criminal activity, and other functions required by payment processors.

 

While The Company seeks to only partner with tested, reliable third party payment processors, you agree that The Company cannot be held liable for how your Payment Data is used or retained while in transfer to, stored at, or used by third party payment processors.

 

Website Cookies

 

We may employ the usage of cookies (both “session”, and “persistent”) to deliver specific content, save your password for ease of access to our online accounts (Appa Valley, BudBearers, SoVa Gardens). Cookies may be contained within promotional, or advertising material on our website. The Company does not have access to, nor control over the information collected via cookies, from outside advertisers on our website.

The Company takes advantage of both “session ID” cookies, and “persistent cookies” through the Wix.com platform. Persistent cookies are used to make tasks such as logging on easier for the returning User by remembering the User’s login information, and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to our website. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s direction in deleting cookies. Session cookies are temporary and disappear after you close the browser. However, if you choose to disable this function, your experience at our website may be diminished, and certain aspects of the website may not function as intended. The Company employs the use of third-party apps, and tracking analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Wix Store, and more.
