Orville here. Glad to have you back. I want to keep you up-to-date as we continue to move closer to opening day. This past Monday I went before the town council here in Pennington Gap. We felt it was important to let the community know what we were doing and take the first step towards establishing the a good working relationship with our local leadership.
I'd like to publicly say thank you to the council. They edited the agenda schedule in order for me to read a speech I'd prepared. After hearing what I had to say, a few of the council members had questions and wanted to get a better understanding of what we're looking to do in regards to SoVa Gardens. I explained that SoVa Gardens is a garden center that will provide the industry leading products and support for at-home horticulture. In specific, we're going to fill the gap in the Virginia market for the recreational cannabis home-grower.
The Powell Valley Newspaper gave us a front page write up regarding the speech I read to the council. I've attached a picture of the write up below.
